Historic handmade liquor factory in Avane, in the province of Pisa. It produces grappas, distillates, amaro, flavored liqueurs and creams.
Around 1920, Mentore Barsanti elaborated the first recipes that will give life to the Auser liquor factory. In 1934 the Amaro Barsanti, made with the infusion of 20 different species of medicinal and aromatic plants, was awarded a gold medal in Rome.
Today, after the son of Mentore, Giovanni, the liquor factory is run with the same passion and the same craft methods by his niece Marialuisa Barsanti, who has continued some recipes and created others, expanding the production line which now includes digestives, grappa, fruit creams and liqueurs.
The ingredients are all processed by hand and cold, without being overheated by machinery and the filters used are not mechanical, but linen: the herbs and the fruits in this way keep their properties intact. The alcohol used is of agricultural origin, with a very low percentage of impurities.
