Lamporecchio is an anise Tuscan specialty

The brigidini recipe seems to be born for a fortuitous case: towards the middle of the sixteenth century, the nuns of the convent of Santa Brigida in Pistoia, said "brigidine", mistaken the dough of the hosts, giving rise to brigidini.

Today the Brigidini is one of the most popular Tuscan products in the area and is inevitable in the country party stalls. Its composition is simple: eggs, sugar, refined flour and anise, which gives that particular taste and tasty. The Tuscany Region has called the brigidino Traditional Agri-food Product (PAT).

The ones we propose here are handcrafted without added fat parts, no preservatives, dyes, or chemical additives. In the center, each brigidino is stamped with a stylized flower, the same as the ancient molds with which it was originally produced.

Try them for a fine meal tasting a good Tuscan Vinsanto.
