Traditional Italian liquor, Biadina Massagli is a bitter aromatic after dinner liquor, made with slow maceration herbs. This is a typical drink of the Lucca area in Tuscany. Bottle of 0.50 l.
Attention: the original Biadina is produced exclusively by Massagli.
At the end of the nineteenth century in Lucca, at the market, Tista Nardini's shop was used to serve the merchants. They ordered for this this bitter herbs liquor saying "A fodder (biada) for the horses, and a little fodder (biadina) for the merchant".
Today the recipe has been coded and "Biadina" has become one of the symbols of the city of Lucca. The Tuscany Region has also called this liqueur Traditional Agri-food Product (PAT).
We suggest the Biadina, the only original of the historic Massagli producer. This is a bitter liqueur, with a rather delicate taste, obtained by the slow maceration of aromatic herbs. The packaging is wonderful: elegant, it resembles the shape of the bell tower of the Cathedral of Lucca.
Suitable for any time of the day, it can be consumed at ambient temperature or with ice. It is used in bitter shorts with some pine nuts on the bottom.
