Pici are a kind of large and irregular spaghetti. The traditional ingredients are flour, water and salt. The Tuscany Region has called this type of pasta Traditional Agri-food Product (PAT).
The porous quality of this pasta makes it the perfect foil for any types of sauce.
"The high quality of Pasta Bertoli consists in the cultivation of the best durum wheat which since 1950 has been produced with bronze processing at low temperature, slow drying and then completing the process by achieving a hight quality of pasta.
This mean that Pasta Bertoli is rich of hight nutritional bio-elements. Pasta Bertoli is being produced in the ancient traditional manner used in Tuscany, which is an authentic expression of our region, while in keeping with our biodiversity culture."
