Typical food of Florence, lampredotto is obtained from one of the four parts of the bovine stomach, the abomasum.
It is frequently found in Florence and in the province as street food, and is usually served boiled together with green sauce or in zimino with vegetables.
Here it is prepared in a vegetable and tomato broth, in the classical way: it is a very tasty dish already prepared, to which only a little extra virgin olive oil is added.
Use: pour the product in a pan and heat over low heat; if you use the microwave, heat until boiling. To open the jar, pull the lid seal tab. Sterilized gastronomic product.
