Sant'Ilario is a Chianti Classico made from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown in the Radda in Chianti area, where this grape expresses some of the most interesting nuances ever.
This red wine is aged 6 months in Slavonian oak barrels and another 4 months in bottle.
It is served between 16 ° -18 ° C.
Suitable for meat sauces, roasts, braised and grilled meats, and well-aged cheeses.

Vinification and aging: The grapes are vinified according to the traditional fermentation method in the presence of the skins which lasts for about 10 days at a temperature of 28 ° C. Once the malolactic fermentation is over, the wine ages for 6 months in Slavonian oak barrels and another 4 months in bottle.
Color: Brilliant ruby red with garnet reflections.
Perfume: Fine and elegant, with typical hints of violet, small red fruits and light spicy notes.
Flavor: Full, with good structure and persistence, with personality that fully expresses the character of Sangiovese.
