The scaldatelli are handmade baked products typical of Puglia, of elongated circular shape, and made with water, flour and flavored with onion.

The scaldatelli are made with flour, oil and salt, like taralli, but they are cooked twice: first in boiling water for a few seconds, then they are dried and cooked in the oven.
They are a typical product of southern Italy, where they are also called scaldatelle. They can be eaten as an appetizer, as a snack, or instead of bread.
The scaldatelli are delicious snacks suitable for every moment of the day.
