The friselle are one of the typical products of Puglia for excellence. They are made with flour, water and brewer's yeast. The dough is handmade worked and rolled into a spiral shape, with a central hole and baked for a first cooking, cut horizontally and baked again.
How to eat it: it is necessary to wet the frisella in cold water for the time necessary to soften it, or in any case according to one's taste.
Then season with fresh tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil and salt. You can add oregano or other spices in according to taste.
